建築ダウナーズは、2022年より宮城県内の森林環境や林業、建築生産に携わる様々な世代、異なる専門性をもった人々に話を聞き、普段使っている木材がどのようにして自分たちの元へやってくるのか、木や山をめぐる動きと現代の私たちの生活はどのように関係しているのかを学び、接続点を模索するためのリサーチプロジェクトを行っています。「Woods in the rearview mirror（ウッズ・イン・ザ・バックミラー）」は、これまでに行ってきた取り組みのアーカイブです。
